Buying the book
The paperback and hardcover of 33 Laws of Discipline, Power & Legacy are sold through Amazon. When you buy there, your agreement is with Amazon, or the seller on Amazon, not with us. Amazon's conditions of use, delivery terms and return policy apply.
We do not handle payment, shipping or returns for Amazon orders. For questions about an order, contact Amazon. The price on Amazon at checkout is the price you pay.
The e-book and the signed edition are not on sale yet. Their terms will be published here when they are.
Private Sessions
What you get
A written intake before we speak, a 30-minute call on Zoom in English or Dutch, and a follow-up summary with your next steps.
Price and payment
The founding rate is €350 for the first 10 sessions. After that, a session costs €500. You pay upfront, through Stripe, before the session is confirmed.
Rescheduling
Need another time? Reschedule through the link in your confirmation, up to 24 hours before the session starts. Within 24 hours, email us and we will see what is possible.
Cancellation and refunds
- Cancel more than 24 hours before the start and you get a full refund.
- Cancel within 24 hours, or miss the call, and there is no refund.
- If John has to cancel, you choose: a new time or a full refund.
This does not limit your rights as a consumer under Dutch and EU law.
What a session is, and is not
A Private Session is a one-to-one strategy conversation. It is not therapy, medical, legal or financial advice. You stay responsible for the decisions you make. What you share stays confidential.
Speaking, partnerships and bookings
Keynotes, workshops, institutional orders, partnerships and DJ bookings are agreed in writing, per engagement. That agreement sets the price, dates and conditions, and takes priority over these terms.
Intellectual property
The book, the 33 laws, all text, photos, video, music and design on this website belong to John Silvera or to the people who licensed them to us. They are protected by copyright.
You may quote a short passage with credit to John Silvera and a link to this website. For anything more, such as reprints, training material or commercial use, ask us first.
Liability
We do our work with care. We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost profit, that results from using this website or from decisions you make after a session.
If we are liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service concerned. This limit does not apply to damage caused by intent or gross negligence.
Applicable law
Dutch law applies to these terms and to our services. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. The version that applied when you booked stays valid for that booking.
